Birdwatching at La Jorará
The Sierra Nevada has more endemic birds than any massif on earth. The estate is a good place to see them.

Body and rest
Massage, yoga and healthy food in a place where the loudest sound is the stream coming down off the Sierra.
The wellness programme at La Jorará does not depend on spa infrastructure: it depends on the place. The cold mountain-water natural pool, the beach with no neighbours, the forest trails and the absence of mobile signal do most of the work.
On top of that come the services: massage and a physical recovery programme, yoga sessions and healthy eating with produce from the estate's garden.
There is also a dimension you will not find elsewhere: spiritual encounters with the Sierra's indigenous communities. For those who request it, the mamos prepare aseguranzas, a spiritual protection made specifically for that person. It is not a spa service: it is a living practice of Kogui and Arhuaco culture, and it is arranged with the community.
Wellness services are requested before arrival or during your stay, and they are also the usual complement to group retreats.
A massage programme on the estate, particularly requested after the Lost City trek or a long day walking in Tayrona.
Sessions on the terraces and outdoor areas, facing the sea or beside the stream. The usual base for group retreats.
A menu built on produce from the estate's garden, with an emphasis on salads, tropical fruit and vegetables, adaptable to specific diets.
A spiritual protection prepared by a Kogi or Arhuaco mamo for the person who requests it, within the community visits. Arranged in advance.
Not in the sense of a hotel spa with treatment rooms, sauna and a menu of therapies. There is a massage service requested in advance, and the setting — natural pool, private beach, trails — does the job of rest far better than a closed room.
