La Jorará Eco Hotel · Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta
In Aluna Cabin (Maloka)
A suite in the all-timber Aluna cabin, lulled by the sound of the Jorará waterfall.
The Aluna Cabin is a recent build, made entirely of timber. Higuerón is the ground-floor Double Suite; the cabin has four rooms in all, each with a private bathroom, and sleeps up to eight or nine people.
What defines this cabin is the sound: it sits close enough to the Jorará stream that you sleep with running water in the background. The balcony offers a constant show of hummingbirds and squirrels, and the name comes from the higuerón, one of the giant native trees surrounding the building.
We'd rather tell you before you book.
