We are the data controller under Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1074 of 2015. For anything related to this policy, write to the email address in the footer of this page.

We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics tool. There are no Facebook pixels, no Google Ads tags, no advertising trackers. We do not set cookies of our own.

Browsing uniquecolombia.co leaves no record of you in our systems. We do not know which pages you viewed, how long you stayed, or where you came from.

We state this plainly because it is unusual and because it can be checked: the site's code is what it is, and it contains none of those tools.

We only receive what you send us yourself, through two channels:

By WhatsApp or email. The site's buttons and form store nothing: they open your WhatsApp or your email client with the message already written, and you decide whether to send it. From there we keep that conversation, with whatever you included — your name, your contact details, travel dates, number of guests — in order to reply, put a proposal together and handle the booking.

Through the booking engine. The La Jorará units are booked through LobbyPMS, which is displayed inside our site but is a third-party system. The data you type there — payment details included — is received and processed by LobbyPMS as our provider, under its own privacy policy, and we access it in order to provide the service.

We do not buy databases, we do not share your data with third parties so they can market to you, and we do not send you advertising you have not asked for.

Conversations and booking data are kept for as long as the relationship lasts, and afterwards for the period Colombian law requires for accounting and tax records.

If you wrote to us and never booked, you can ask us to delete that conversation whenever you like.

Law 1581 of 2012 gives you the right to know what data of yours we hold, to update it, to correct it if it is wrong, to ask us to delete it, to withdraw the authorisation you gave us, and to file a complaint with Colombia's Superintendency of Industry and Commerce.

To exercise any of those rights, write to the email address in the footer from the address or number you contacted us with, saying what you want. There is no form to fill in. We answer within the deadlines set by law: fifteen business days for enquiries and fifteen for complaints, extendable where the law allows.

This site is not aimed at minors and does not deliberately collect their data. When a minor travels with their family, their details reach us through the adult making the booking and are handled with the same care as everyone else's.

The date of the last update appears at the top of this page. If the site ever adds analytics, cookies or any tool that collects browsing data, this policy will be updated before that change goes live, not after.
