Tubing on the Don Diego River
Float down from the mountain to the Caribbean Sea, among howler monkeys and birds.

Active · Nature
Descend the Don Diego standing on a board, down to where the river meets the sea.
The tour starts with a twenty-minute boat ride upriver, taking in the region's flora and fauna. There the guide explains how to handle the board — you can stand, kneel, sit or lie down, depending on how confident you feel — and the descent begins with the current.
On the way down you see howler monkeys and both migratory and local birds, until you reach the meeting point of the Don Diego River and the Caribbean Sea. There you get a picnic of typical fruit — watermelon, mango, pineapple, banana — and time to swim in both fresh and salt water. A boat collects the group for the return.
